The City of Loogootee recently received a $125,000 Vision Grant from the Martin County Community Foundation. This grant will be used for a 6-foot-wide asphalt walking path around the Loogootee City Park along with 3-5 pieces of adult outdoor exercise equipment.
The walking path and exercise equipment will help meet the need for improved facilities for recreation and wellness as identified in the Ready Martin County’s Quality of Place and Workforce Attraction Plan.
