Previously mined case study is a pilot project, one of the first of its kind to better market the Southwest Indiana Megasite for strategic development opportunities that bring in capital investment and new job opportunities.

The Southwest Indiana Megasite includes 8,000 acres, under common ownership that is located within a ½ mile of Interstate 69 interchange traveling north to south and 15 miles north of Interstate 64 traveling east to west. The Megasite is also connected by 3 state highways (SR 61, SR 56, and SR 57) with rail connections to Indiana Southern Rail and Norfolk Southern Railroad.

The Megasite has an abundance of electric capacity with three high voltage transmission lines surrounding the site (345 kV, 138 kV and 69 kV). This area is all within a TIF district and Economic Revitalization Area. We are open for business!
