Troy, IN (March 12, 2020) – The Perry County Development Corporation announces Automated Routing, located in St. Meinrad, Indiana, has purchased the development corporation’s shell building in Troy, Indiana.
Automated Routing was formed in 1993 with just one machine. Twenty-seven years later, Automated Routing has dozens of CNC machines and numerous pieces of dedicated machinery with over
one-hundred employees.
As a high-quality custom machining solutions operation, Automated Routing provides the capabilities and production capacity for CNC routing, CNC cut-to-size, drilling, molded plywood, laser-cut cardboard, and chair frame assembly for products in the wood and plastic industries. Automated Routing purchased the fifty-thousand square-foot shell building in Perry County to accommodate expansion in their overseas aerospace production.
Automated Routing plans to complete the shell building in 2020 and hire ten additional employees while transferring twenty current employees from St. Mein rad to Troy. Automated Routing intends to expand the building in the second phase of this acquisition and increase its Troy labor force and output. As an incentive to locate in Troy, the Town of Troy voted to provide Automated Routing with tax abatement.
