Dubois Strong, in partnership with Vincennes University Jasper, Patoka Valley CTE, Hub 19, Indiana Municipal Power Agency, the four Dubois County school corporations, and local businesses, provided 580 high school freshmen with a firsthand exploration of job opportunities in Dubois County on Wednesday, October 12.
Students from Forest Park, Southridge, Northeast Dubois, and Jasper convened for the daylong Tour of Opportunity to learn about careers in agriculture, arts/communications, automotive/transportation, business/finance, marketing/human resources, construction/architecture, engineering/manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality/culinary arts, social services, information technology, public safety, and welding/precision machining.
